Matera is the oldest town in Italy. Once considered the “shame of Italy”, it is anything but shameful these days. It's an enchanting place you must visit. Caves, which at one time served as homes and shelters for the native population, have now been transformed into welcoming hotels and restaurants.

Upon our visit to Puglia, we discovered an amazingly talented photographer, Gianni Buonsante. My travel partner and I decided to hire him for a several hours to capture our experience on the beach in Polignano a Mare and La Grotta. Gianni was very innovative and captured our emotions in a way that felt natural. His creativity surpassed our expectations.
