Hotels and resorts are able to pictorially promote their location but are often unable to capture the atmosphere of being at the hotel within photos thus underselling themselves.

I photograph luxury hotels and resorts and my goal is not only to portray what I can see, but to paint a picture of what cannot be seen.

Rufflets St Andrews 1924

Created in 1924 as a private home, then later transformed into a country house hotel. One of Scotland's first. Three generations of the same family have poured their heart and soul into creating a hotel that has a unique warmth.
